Baghel Singh Bahia has joined the Punjab Lok Congress Party after resigning as state joint secretary of the Aam Aadmi Party’s youth wing and main membership.
Captain Amarinder Singh officially welcomed him into the Punjab Lok Party. Following that, speculation began that Baghel Singh Bahia may run for the Gurdaspur Assembly seat as a combined candidate of the Lok Congress Party and the BJP.
It’s important mentioning that Baghel Singh Bahia has been putting in long hours by joining the Aam Aadmi Party for the last several months.
Baghel Singh Bahia was appointed Punjab Joint Secretary of Youth Wing by the Aam Aadmi Party in a matter of months, owing to his party’s ideas and popularity.
He was considered a candidate from the light Gurdaspur in the 2022 elections, but Raman Bahl, who left the Congress and joined the Aam Aadmi Party by resigning from the office of Punjab SSS Board, was designated his candidate on behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party High Command. Baghel Singh Bahian was enraged that Bahl had been assigned the ticket.
Meanwhile, late Wednesday evening, Bahia resigned as state joint secretary and a key member of the party. Bahian then joined the Punjab Lok Congress in Chandigarh on Thursday, led by Captain Amarinder Singh.
He was promoted to district head and given the authority of the district when Captain Amarinder Singh joined his party. The Aam Aadmi Party has gone off the rails.
Baghel Singh Bahian said that he joined the Aam Aadmi Party assuming it to be a party for ordinary people, but after some time in the party, he discovered that it was not founded for the Aam Aadmi Party and has deviated from its founding principles. As a consequence, he said his goodbyes to the party for the last time.
